Hard Cheese made with Cow's Milk from Valsassina Valley.
In Italian the word Casaro means Cheese Maker, and this is literally his own cheese. An every day cheese aged around 6 months, with a robust aroma and a yellowish colour. It goes well with Pizzoccheri or with a spoon of fig's compote.
Aged minimum 6 months.
Ingredients: Milk, Salt, Rennet.
